My Brief Background
I’m a Third Culture Kid (or Adult), which basically means I grew up outside my parents’ home country, mixing the culture I was born into with the cultures I adopted along the way to create my own unique blend. Originally from Boston, I spent parts of my childhood in the UK, São Paulo, Brazil, France, and various States in the US.
After Uni in 1986, I took my first job in New York City, and from there, the journey took me around the globe—Australia, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Micronesia, the Mariana Islands, and back to the UK and the Philippines. Eventually, in 2010, I found myself settling in San Francisco, but every stop has added a building block to who I am today
